We believe that a resilient and dynamic local food system is an integral driver of positive benefits for the environment and emissions reduction, the local economy, the community well-being, as well as public health. This is the premise to our Hui, where we will explore both historical contexts of resilient food systems, whilst show-casing current organisations from around the motu working towards a stronger food network.
Come for a day of connection and cultivation around Kai Resilience at the Golden Bay Sustainability Living Centre.

This day, co-organised by the GB Sustainable Living Center and the Nelson Tasman Climate Forum, will both be a day of learning, with presentations from experts of both the North & South Island; and a day of discussion and collaboration, with facilitated networking to cross-pollinate initiatives and skillsets to get the cogs turning for positive change in the Top of the South.
Transport will be facilitated to help people travel to Golden Bay from Nelson and Tasman. For those who cannot attend, we will be recording the presentations and Q&As and it will be available on our websites.
GBSLC will have lunches available for $15.
